Mothers Day...

I've loved this cartoon for ages. I haven't found a cartoon about when they get older...soccer games, recitals, dance team, debate team, student government,piano lessons or even worse violin lessons! You get to drive a lot while your children grow. You can grow to hate driving..really. Then they leave the nest- yikes!! You hope they don't fall out of the nest but fly away and find food and someone to love. They go on missions, get married, go weeks without calling you.

I sometimes miss the naked bums coming out of the tub with anticipation of me reading a story before bed.
My cute son Jonathan will be sleeping at home for one more night before leaving for his mission. I hope he wants a story!
We have every confidence in his ability to teach and be a great missionary!

We wish to instill in our children Unconditional love, respect, happiness and integrity And understand that we must first embody these qualities ourselves. Our ultimate goal is to return to our Heavenly Father together -- a complete family -- And we strive to instill in each this sense of unity. We strengthen and encourage each other so that each person has the capacity to gain a sense of self and individual worth from within themselves, independent of all outside influences.
As a family, We eat together, pray together, study and ponder the scriptures and gospel together, attend church together and laugh together.
We know when to work, when to play and when to relax. Most of all, we know each other. We know how to make each other smile and laugh And we are constantly seeking opportunities to do so. Our greatest legacy will be that we loved each other well.
