Teenagers!

General Conference Food

I wasn't going to do Easter Baskets or an egg hunt this year. I could be on the 'Worst Mom of the year' list 2010. I don't know what's wrong with me ;/. So Haley was talking with a friend of mine yesterday and just couldn't believe I wasn't going to do anything for my teenagers for Easter- Paleezz! So call it guilt, I went and bought brown eggs and those colored paas dye tablets and we colored eggs tonight. Woohoo! There is a small element of fun I decided to add. I will 'hide' the eggs- then at about 11pm they will grab a flashlight and 'find' the eggs. But wait til tomorrow ;)

Our ultimate goal is to return to our Heavenly Father together -- a complete family -- And we strive to instill in each this sense of unity. We strengthen and encourage each other so that each person has the capacity to gain a sense of self and individual worth from within themselves, independent of all outside influences.
As a family, We eat together, pray together, study and ponder the scriptures and gospel together, attend church together and laugh together.
We know when to work, when to play and when to relax. Most of all, we know each other. We know how to make each other smile and laugh And we are constantly seeking opportunities to do so. Our greatest legacy will be that we loved each other well.
