Today was the spring wildflower hike. It was a perfect day to be outdoors and hike. We met at Gail Knights house in North East Mesa, not far from the house John and I built in a community called Las Sendas when we first moved to the valley. The flower colors were so intense and the blue sky backdrop was simply magnificent!
The desert definitely has its own unique beauty. Which I have come to appreciate and enjoy.
The views were also amazing and can't be captured in a photo. Here is one with my cute friend Richelle. If you look closely on the left you can see the word PHOENIX the pilots' look for, and the arrow pointing toward phoenix in white on the mountainside.
